The Broncos have their hands full this week.

The Panthers have won 14 straight, and with their NSW Cup side receiving the bye, a lot of there better players like Edwards, Clark, Ellis and Waddell will be playing. They also welcome back Robert Jennings who is arguably the best centre of his year level.

In some good news for the Broncos, they welcome back Jaydn Su'A from suspension which should certainly bolster their left edge.

Brisbane are on the fringe of the eight, so every win here on out is vital. So far, given the injuries and the call-ups, a 9th-10th place finish would seem fitting but if they were somehow able to make the eight with Allan, Shibasaki, Fauid, Burns, Whitbread, Carrigan, Hope etc. moving forward it would give them a nice shot heading into next year.

For the time being, Penrith are the best team in the competition and this group of players maybe the best the NYC has ever seen. If you have the free time, they're worth going out of your way to see.

Looking forward to tonight.

The boys scored some great tries last week. Smith's try was awesome. Penrith is a hard task though. It'll be high scoring.

Tight game so far.

Brisbane lead 10-6, with Penrith scoring in the shadows of half-time.

From all reports, the Broncos have done well and can consider themselves unlucky not to be infront by more. A few gutsy plays from the Panthers have kept them in it.

They'll require a huge second half if they're to pull off the unlikely upset.

One panther in the bin, good opportunity here.

That's gut-wrenching for the 20s.

With only four minutes left on the clock, Penrith scored off a cross-field kick to win it.

12-10 Panthers.

Gutsy performance, but nothing to show for it.

Mate just told me Penrith had 14 on the field for the last play when we bombed a try.
