I don't consider Ash Taylor as prey, merely bemused at the certainty of some that we desperately needed to throw him into first grade.

Last week, the Broncos held a 24-6 half-time lead, only for the game to end 24-16.

This time, they weren't so lucky.

Always difficult to judge a halves performance when their key indicators aren't available. I'm sure he didn't play well, but for all we know, the players around him could have come up with some momentum killing mistakes at the wrong time.

In saying that, I've been of the belief that Ash isn't a viable option until 2017. I think it's a massive shame we're letting him go a year early, especially now that Jayden Nikorima hasn't re-signed, but there's no point in crying over spilled milk.

It's time to move on.

Cmon Fourex, hunt is the only one that can be pounced on for not closing out games, you should know better than that.

Look clearly Ash has struggled recently to close out games in the NYC but there is no reason to doubt that he couldn't close out games in the NRL
