The Gagai incident was to do with him wanting some leave due to some very personal issues.
Pretty much Henjak told him go find another club if he couldn't handle the big time.

Henjak has form in this area. From what I read this morning, Peter Ryan resigned angrily last year because he asked for time off for a personal reason (sick family member or something) and Henjak basically told him to get his priorities right.

So the same person who informed me Inglis was signing as just informed me that WB has verbally agreed to terms for 2012 and that he has been in talks with Brisbane since White took over.

I guess it will depend on planes flying in the rain though..

Full of win that!! Hope its correct even if GI didnt sign [icon_lol1. [icon_lol1.

AP - When you say nobodies are you referring to 2008 or 2009? You've got to remember, Henjak had a full year to get the roster he wanted at the club so if you're referencing 2009, then he does deserve a share of the blame.

Lawrence Brindle elected acting chairman, Tony Joseph new director.

I liked Ivan Chookrooter. Interesting situation to say the least.

Ten News: Bennett's return to Brisbane in 2012 is a 'formality', provided board members at the club during his 2008 exit are removed #nrl

Interesting.

I'd be delighted in Wayne came back, provided there is a long term plan in place.

Success will follow.

That there is the key IMO, I'd happily have Bennett back at the club but would prefer it not to be as head coach.

Watt is the only one left of the board he resigned to, Bruno is a director now though.

I don't think it would matter, Bennett hates boards full stop and was never close to them anyway.

Agree with Beads. Griffin, if he goes ok this year, coach. Bennett director of coaching and recruitment. Do a Cyril Connell type role as well as being a mentor to griffin and oversee the coaching structure at all levels within the club - NRL, 20s, q cup, colts, scholarships etc.

+1

I'm obviously a big fan of Wayne's, but the more I think about it the more I want to see Hook given a decent opportunity to lead our team for a number of years to come. I think that gives us more of an opportunity to move forward instead of relying on what's worked in the past. Not saying I wouldn't welcome Bennett back as head coach, but I just think Griffin has earned the right to be given a decent opportunity. His record speaks for itself. I will be disappointed if the Broncos are already on the hunt for a new coach in 2012 without seeing what Griffin can do. He has played a huge role in the development of a lot of our good young players and deserves his chance. IMO.

1000% agree and that's why I hope if the broncos are looking at Wayne they're looking at him at a broader club coaching and recruitment and development directorship role. Whether that interests WB is the question.

With all this WB talk, Josh Hoffman might get a little nervous ...

Why? Hoffman is a star in the making.
Boyd is good fullback, much like Pattern and Schifoske was.

Fair crack of the whip mate, Boyd is already a star.
