he needs a lot more than speed in attack. I like him in the centres for his defence but in attack he looks like a winger wearing the #3.

Well outside of Lyon and Hodges, every other centre is pretty much a winger too. Reed can at least pass I guess.

I'm not sure about that. Matai, Jennings, SKD, Gagai, Leilua, Ferguson, Chambers, Linnett, Croker, Hurrell, Whare, are all legit centres.

SKD is definitely one guy who I see as a winger playing in the centres. the rest are natural centres though and there are others who you haven't mentioned too, even if some of them are hopeless defenders.
