He is one of the best natural wingers I have ever seen in league. Great awareness, safe as houses, speed to burn and strong to boot. He was an absolute freak and he hadn't even peaked by the time the injury happened. It's such a shame that we won't get to see him play again but I'm glad he has been looked after by the club.



That's my favourite try of Yow Yeh's career, they showed it during the interview with Sterlo. Thurston underestimated the danger of making a play like that to Yow Yeh's edge and he not only paid the price, but got turned inside out when he tracked back to try and make the tackle. Beautiful stuff.

The thought makes me sick. We've struggled under the high ball plenty since Yow Yeh went down. He would have been a guaranteed safe pair of hands for his entire career. He was on track to be one of the best ever.

Sorry, can't watch. I get genuinely emotional when I think about JYY. One of the nicest guys and was turning into a deadset superstar - literally had the RL world at his feet, and for it to get so cruelly ripped away.. Then the comeback over those years, and the blood sweat and tears he would have put into it to get back.. I just can't watch it, it breaks my heart.

But, I don't have his try against the Titans in the 2009 finals game.

I can't make a montage of Yow Yeh and not include every single try. It would drive me crazy.
