Original Bronco Jersey

I have an original jersey from 1988 which was won at a golf day a while ago.
I think in 1988 the players were given their numbers and kept them for the year ( may well be wrong here), anyway my question is, does anyone know who had no 25 in 1988?

Not correct, players were numbered based on position.

In those days jersey numbers were continuous through 3 grades.

eg:

First grade: 1-13
Reserve grade: 14-26
Under 21: 27-39
First grade reserves: 40, 41, 42, 43 etc

So my guess is 25 was a reserve grade second rower. (Numbering had changed so lock was 13 by then I think, if not it'd be the hooker).
