I didn't, but there was real rivalry in the early 00's, lots of firey games in Auckland...

I think the warriors see us as one of their rivals, but they haven't really been a competitive team in recent years (though this year they're not sucking!) and so they don't really come up on our radar - poor old warriors

There is a bit of a history there. Their maiden first grade game was against us not to mention some of the matches from 2001-2005.

Newcastle is another rivalry that has dropped off lately. From 98-03 it was one of the hottest in Rugby League.

Right now, I reckon the Dragons rank right up there as our rivals. Bennett factor aside, both teams draw big houses, lots of history and generally a lot of quality players on show.

We used to open the season against the Warriors for a while there. Now it seems apart from Penrith a few years back we always open our season against the Cowboys.

My first thought was the Bulldogs. But reading the thread yeah Storm then Dragons then Bulldogs. Really though it could be just about any club, we are the most hated club in the league and every other team loves to fire up to play us.

I just don't feel it with the Titans tbh. They have no soul (yet).

If the Titans were to beat us in a Grand Final or even a Semi Final and went on to win the Grand Final then they would definitely be our biggest rivals. At the moment, if you meet a Titans fan or go to Skilled, even if they're winning, it's really easy to spark back at a Titans fan with a, "How many premierships have the Titans won? Oh that's right...none!" They really don't have a comeback. That could all change if they were to beat us in a finals game, as they would have a comeback. "Who'd we beat last time to win the GF? Oh that's right...it was the Broncos!"

It will never happen, but food for thought anyway.
