Question to those in the know, how much does exercises like yoga and pilates come into the equation with the bigger lads? Of course it could be a weak lower back aka Hodges causing a lot of hamstring issues.

Well he supposedly spent the off-season working on strengthening his hammy's at a hamstring injury prevention specialist, and that didn't work. So you definitely could be on to something in saying that it's a lower back or other area that's causing that additional strain on his hammy's.

I feel like that's something they should be able to figure out pretty quick though..

Unfortunately his hamstring seems like it may well determine whether he makes it in the NRL, can only imagine that another injury will see his price plummet.

Can’t imagine we’d sign him to a mammoth long term deal with a chronic dodgy hamstring that may well see him sidelined for months every year

Yes...can’t imagine signing someone with dodgy Hammies...for four years...unless they are already old too.

Hodgo???

Seems more like it's the norm around red hill so I expect to see TPJ sign a 4 year deal in the coming days

Really worried that we see more articles about this guys legs than what he's achieved on the field.

Without knowing his case specifically, it could be coordination and firing order issue with his hamstring and back chain. If its a firing order issue, glute and lower back reactivation and re learning can take months and months. Something around 5,000 correct movements alone are near required in some studies to re program the brain from incorrect movement.
