Props just don't win you games of footy, that's the cold hard of it.

They can play their best game, average 10 metres a carry, barely miss a tackle, all of that. They still don't win you the game.
 
He’s never looked comfortable playing against his broncos brothers at origin level. Money talks though, have fun carrying that franchise.
 
Well that sucks big time! Although to be fair Hass has always been after the money, so its not huge surprise it would happen one day.

Will back him while he plays for us, but kinda hope it's similar to Wightons move and he ends up regretting it big time.

Already feeling hatred towards Souths a bit.

I still find it odd that he's not waived his cooling off period. To me it suggests that he's potentially waiting for a counter, or has some kind of second thought

Problem is he is still in his peak years.
He will play out his entire 3 year Souths contract before he hits 30....
Think this is why it hurts so much. Hopefully his management have inserted clauses around R360 or foreign league.
Just doesn't feel right he wears another jersey
 
I mean it sucks but at least it’s done and Souths can deal with the constant threats to go elsewhere.

Also wasn’t the big thing with his last contract all about an after football job? Guessing that’s no longer a thing.
 
**** Skeletor Bennett. I'm going to say it
  1. Underperformed with the 90's/ 2000's Broncos.
  2. Can't make the finals.
  3. ****ed us over again and again.

Bennett and Bellamy disappearing can't happen soon enough.

Haas is just a mercenary. Good riddance, I'm over the Haas contract talks every couple of years, and it's way to much money for a prop even the best prop of all time.
 
I was actually more concerned of us paying him for another 5 years on a huge deal….he has jt13 written all over him.

We have a great team locked up if wr get willison extended. Hes had his injury issues but if he can get past them he has **** all k’s in his legs and will be great and far cheaper than an aging haas.

We have Reece, we don’t need a generational prop.

What happened to him wanting to be a Bronco and stick by the club who supported him?

South's just toppled storm as my most hated team, Bennet can get ****ed, the dementia will have him before the end of next season.

It means we can front load some contracts in 2027 if needed to get pay up a bit on some more forwards for 2028. We've just gotta back our production line of talent and back that playing with Walsh will entice players to come to us..
