Also Boyd is a Broncos junior and has never played for the Storm. Slater and Inglis would be great but I hate having to recruit a million players that we have not developed.

I dont know, i reckon Boyd's asking price would be pretty high. Not as much as slater or Inglis but still pretty high

True that but I would say it would still be quite a bit less than Slater and Boyd has been in better form over the last year and a bit IMO... (Waits for people to start raging)

I heard that since the Broncos missed out on big Petro they are now focussing there attention to Aiden Tolman! Would make sense now considering it seems that we have got Hannant wrapped up we can switch to Tolman as our number 1 recruitment priority!

I would crap my pants at the thought of Hannant and Tolman as our starting props!

but has Hannant actually been given a release from the Bulldogs yet. because that may still be the only hurdle to us signing him

cant see us getting tolman if we get hannant considering the dogs are looking at him as a replacement for hannant.

Yeah, the Dogs will be throwing massive amounts of cash at Tolman.

Glad to hear we've nearly got Hannant in the bag, top shelf signing.

I think we only really need a marquee prop and if folau leaves a replacement marquee back.

According to RLW Manly are looking to shed Josh Perry, he is 29 so he would have a few good years left in him.
No thanks. Most overrated prop on the planet.
Next to Justin Poore. It's a closely fought battle.

Apparently Locky all but confirmed it on the Today show this morning, yet according to the radio this morning, the bulldogs are playing down reports that the deal is already done. They've said he won't be going anywhere until they can guarantee themselves a replacement. If Tolman isn't a done deal for them yet, Hannant wouldn't be one for us.

Kimmorley was on FoxSports today saying the deal is as good as done and the Dogs are looking for a replacement already.

Yup. My guess is the Bulldogs are simply saying they won't release Hannant until they get a replacement, but the deal between the Broncos and Hannant is settled for when that happens.

It will happen. And it won't surprise me if the Broncos give them Tronc.

I think he's definitely on his way. They were always going to let him go provided it was to Brisbane or the GC. They might just be holding their cards close to their chest?

Brett Kimmorley said last night he expected Hannant to make an announcement in the next week

Well yes. Clearly their deal with Hannant's replacement isn't quite so advanced. That's all they're saying.
