I know Michaels cops a lot, but before he was injured in 2007 (or was it 2008?) he was going great guns, and a realistic chance of Origin. I guess the game and the team overtook him while he was injured and he has lost a lot of confidence, particularly in defense. But, he is no longer in our top 6 or 7 outside backs, so it makes sense to let him go.

Yeah, I was actually a fan of Michaels pre-injury. He was actually good...WAS.

Exactly. That was the point I was trying to make. Given the Warriors have signed Inu & Mateo I doubt they'd have room for Falou. We've upgraded our offer, so I expect him to sign with the Broncos.
