Players you don,t like just because(non Bronco)

My response to people who say these things about these Bronco kids is"If it were my son or yours and he was thrown into the limelight and made out to be a hero he most likely wouldn't be any differant".

Well known Aussie cricketer when in Bris while his wife was home expecting her baby twins anyday was out and grabbed my mate by the boobs to which she responded"You may play for Australia but gees you are bloody ugly" icon_smile

I disagree, being thrown into the limelight is no excuse. There are still alot of footballers who arent arrogant ***** when they are out and about. Gordon Tallis i have been told is an absolute gentlemen (he actually stopped another bronco player from manhandling the girl i know who worked at the ice bar), and ppl like Folau and Inu are other good examples. Hunt is apparently one of the worst, ive heard 2 separate stories where u sends his mates out to get girls for him, just expecting they will do anything to talk to him or even better, when they come over he will say things like "would you like to buy me a drink" lol.

Yes I have heard the rumours about Hunt to. I do think a majority of them do get carried away by it all.Natural for young blokes in the position and girls falling all over them even though its rude.
They grow up one day and get bought back to earth.

I heard where X Bronc captain walked into an officers club at an army barracks and just pushed aside the guys and told them to get lost and pulled the old"do you know who I am routine".& ordered to be served first He wasn't very big either.. [icon_lol1. [icon_lol1.

Which really goes against the way he portrays himself in interviews when he is down to earth and humble. How they come across when being interviewed etc doesnt show even a glimpse into what kind of person they are. Hunt is walking, arrogant proof.

I have seen Hunt and Hodges at the Regatta a million times surrounded by girls dressed and acting like Pimps and it makes me laugh. As long as they don't break the law or drink into excess during the season I couldn't care any less what they do.

Who cares if someone ain't the nicest bloke. How would you know anyway though? Not unless you talk them for a good few hours and see how they are...

Especially when they've got people who they don't know just bombarding them all night. Can't blame them for being arrogant sometimes.

Aussies are very good at knocking anyone who makes a success of themselves.

Bit like Warney and his troubles.Hear people saying they hate him.I don't and never did.I love to watch the guy play cricket.He is not going to interfere with my life and what he does in his own personal life is totally his business.Same with Hunt.If he can bring the girls in when he is out why call him arrogant.Jealousy or the ugly tall poppy syndrome raising its Aussie head again.

We love the guy on the footy field,he interviews well,doesnt give our club any bad publicity.So what the hell is all the talk about.
