And he's 100% right. Personally I think the "what happens on the field stays on the field" mantra is fine for things that happen in the normal course of a game - accidental high tackles, a bit of one on one punching. But to rake at a bloke's stitches or squeeze someone's balls, that's not on.
And I'd be all for players who feel they've been deliberately targeted and injured with foul play to seek assault charges or civil action.
