Players you liked/rated, that everyone else hated/didn't rate

Karmichael Hunt - On the surface, he really didn't seem like much but boy could he lift during the big games. Very reliable at the back, made huge metres and knew how to put on a try. Lot of people aren't a fan of his ego and self-centred nature which is fair enough but the fact he could back it up won me over.

Wait...who didn't rate Hunt? Some didn't like him, but he was arguably our most talented player since Lockyer. His ball playing skills were second to none at fullback, and other than not knowing how to tackle, he was safe as houses with awesome awareness and positioning.

Elia Tuqiri. The most talented player I have ever saw in GPS. He's probably one of the quickest players that has ever played for the Broncos as well. The only other player that comes close to his speed was Rod Davies. Shame he never really settled on a position during his time at the Broncos/Clydesdales He played mostly in the halves, hooker and wing. His best position was fullback but the kid had all the skills. The only thing he was lacking was size. But you know what they say... once you go black you won't walk again.

Yes, Kaz, he wasn't flashy at all, but I still believe he made a huge contribution to our winning the premiership that year.

Yeah Harvey Howard was definitely a player I wish the Broncos had of got earlier to the club or had been able to play on longer, the Broncos did well to pick him up for 2000.

Another one for Harvey Howard. My dad always called him Harvey Norman though...

Gonna add Peter Wallace to my list as well. Absolutely love his attitude. I'll take his 100% 80 minutes over a lot of other people any day of the week. He definitely made me question it a little last year though...
