Has anyone else noticed that Badel (and his mates) have started calling Walsh our $1.3 million man
Ah, I'm not a driver just a Station master, though I have been looking at getting into it with a plan to go back to QLD, this state is fucked lol.I love it, a lot more enjoyable than when I was on the suburban - too many bloody stations! But yeah, the money in Qld and Vic is way better than what we earn here in NSW. By some amount too.
You should give it a go mate! They're always looking for drivers.
Anyway, back on topic haha.
You don't think the illegal tackle that turned his body away is an issue?Re the Oates no try.
The thing that saved the Cowboys was the fact that Oates got held up and then lost the ball.
For it to be a penalty try, the high tackle had to cause the knock on. The foul play has to be the direct reason the try wasn’t scored. For example if Oates went to plant it down and he got hit high and he loses the ball, penalty try.
For it to be a possible 8 point try, he has to actually score the try which he doesn’t do.
That’s what saved the Cowboys there.
They Also didn't allow him to go to any other team though, you can't be serious about this shit, Kevvie acted on good faith and was rewarded for that by a team that had some integrity, Titans do exist as well and we know about their fullback issues.

They didn’t allow him to go to any other team because he only wanted to go to Brisbane because his kid is in Brisbane.
Gold Coast were never in the picture and Warriors had the shits with the Dolphins.
You’re putting a nice spin on things to make it think Kevvie was instrumental, but it’s complete bullshit.
He was handed to us because there was no one else.
Meanwhile Grant was lighting up the NRL on his rookie contract without a peep.Has anyone else noticed that Badel (and his mates) have started calling Walsh our $1.3 million man

This is just a disingenuous argument, I can't add more. They didn’t allow him to go to any other team because he only wanted to go to Brisbane because his kid is in Brisbane.

I forgot about Hiku's crusher... that was legit the worst crusher I've seen since Storm were doing it for free.Sickening performance from the cows, they ought to be missing Hiku and Drink for several weeks. Arthars played very well coming on for Oates.
On that sort of form only a fully fit turbo is better than Walsh.
EDIT: I fully expect Marty to get longer on the sidelines than drink btw
Don't insult us, it might be a longer rivalry but our derby with Cowboys has overtaken it, More interest proven by attendance plus grand final and cultural relevancy, makes the North/South Qld Derby Number 1, QLD is naturally at a disadvantage from a time perspective given how NSWRL swallowed the QLD competition through pokies money we had no access to.Touching on a few things in here.
Souths/Easts is the biggest rivalry. Brisbane/NQ isn't much really. Half the happy clappers on the Bronxnation FB page would say their second favourite team is NQ. It's pretty much only us on BHQ that have any sort of hate for other QLD clubs.
That Hiku tackle had me pissed. He should have seen the dressing room for that.
Those two knock ons in a row that were called knocked back was ridiculous. The fix was in at that point but we were too good.
Reece Walsh, what a guy.
Working for the trains would be amazing.
Meanwhile Grant was lighting up the NRL on his rookie contract without a peep.
It's only us that can't have a player star without his salary immediately becoming a hot topic and 10 clubs chasing them. Luckily he's locked away for 3 years, plenty of time to extend our future immortal.
Ye... I'm sure corey Oates jaw swinging around in his mouth had no impact on it whatsoever. It’s not the direct cause of the no try. They couldn’t award penalty try.
