POST GAME POST GAME [Round 4, 2023] Broncos vs Dolphins

Put Redcliffe back in the game with a chance to win it.....
I agree with you milford played well. His kicking was dangerous and he took the line on quite well. With a fit half he may have gone even better.
The key for him now is to back it up . He too often slackens off after a big game and at this stage of his career thats a deathknell to opportunities.
i like him as a person and that crap at the end of the broncos was a pretty tough time to go through, so i wish him well. He is own worst enemy but everything ive heard about him as a person is good.
That story someone told me about him having the presence to find a chair for a lady without one at a restaurant when he was facing criminal prosecution speaks volumes.
Its easy to those things when life is good and its plain sailing. Its much harder when everyone just wants you to crawl under a rock and hide.

Probably Fleglers best game for awhile. No dumb penalties and took some hard runs for good metres. Thought both Paix and Walters were ordinary. We would be scary with a good 9. To be fair Walters is a 5/8 filling in at hooker but sometimes he looks a bit lost as to what's going on around him.

Still a great win and managing to win the ones where you don't play so well is a sign of a good team.

Good effort by the Redcliffe boys but losing O'Sullivan for the season is going to hurt them big time.
He was fair smashing them in defense in his first stint as well, put on some real solid hits.

I dunno why but my highlight of the night was big Marty celebrating down the sideline as Staggs ran away to score lol. We move on.

I just dont think we have enough to win that game without him right now. Our younger guys are still a work in progress and i dont think they have the calm head to come up with big plays under pressure regularly.

I think tonight shows that they absolutely don't. Though Mam and Walsh both looked a bit busted by the end there, hopefully nothing serious.

Redcliffe vs St George next round. I'm predicting Milf will play exactly as expected, ordinary for the majority of the game with 2-3 plays that almost pay off.
Redcliffe might have the support players to take advantage of that......

2-3 plays...a game?

that more than Ezra is doing......

When's the last time we were 4/4

Its Been A Long Time Waiting GIF

He is his own worst enemy. He doesn't do enough to make the most of his talent, and he has cruised along too much over the last few years.

Some people are just bitter because he was poor in a poor team while getting paid too much money and cant let go and it clouds their judgement. They take the game way too seriously.

I get people are rightly annoyed he was a big earner not producing, but he wasnt awful tonight and sometimes you have to just say, yep, you did a decent job there. As you say though, its backing it up thats been a major issue for him.

Probably a starting broncos 13 between the two sides

1. Anthony Milford
2. Tesi Niu
3. Brenko Lee
4. Jack Bird
5. Jamayne Isaako
6. Sean O'Sullivan
7. Ben Hunt
8. Frank Molo
9. Kodi Nikorima
10. Herman Ese'ese
11. Jaydn Sua
12. Jarrod Wallace
13.

So close!

Happy to beat those *****, but man, that was hard to watch. We are not a premiership threat or close to it.

I would actually argue it shows we are. We proved we can match it with a team that stayed in the game until the and who look like they will be difficult for anyone to beat, and we found a way to win. Good signs imo.

Played as good as we had to

Thats all you have to do.....

Ew! That is purely revolting. Probably only hunt and sua makes our current 17

SOS gone for an extended time.......?

MilF no.7....Katoa no.6

Anthony played well tonight although not being the superstar. The same numptys will be critical because he didn't win the game for the Dolphins......
much the same as they did when he was Bronco and didn't win games on his own.
Or those same numptys are still pissed that he stole $4M from us? You know, by accepting the $$$ and giving **** all in return.
