The bench rotation was shit. Patty still on at 65 minutes, wtf Kev? Marty got all of what, 10mins? Keenan the same, though I get the feeling he is out of favour and even I as a fan don't 'trust' him to not **** up.

Billy was pretty bad tonight, I've been a supporter but that was not one of his better games. Though he did make some half breaks in the first half with no support.

I'm concerned Walsh and Mam looked a little busted with 20mins to go. Are they carrying injuries, is it cramp from the humidity, what's going on there?

Scramble defence again probably won it for us, that is one definite positive out of the game and it is an important one too.

We are still a very impatient side. Wanting to score from every play rather than building pressure. We need to learn some patience and Reyno and Kev need to both drill that into these young pups.

I think we could have won that much earlier had we kept driving up the middle rather than try and swing it wide on what felt like every second play. Our forward pack is one of the best in the comp - essentially won it for us last week - I don't understand why we don't use them more. There is space out wide when we present threats through the middle. PATIENCE.

I'm actually pretty shitty about that game, though a big occasion and a young team, it was expected. We should have won by a lot more. I feel like a broken record saying it every week, but they should learn from that. I do see similarities between us now and the Panthers of a couple of years ago.

Worried about next week already. Again the Tigers are absolutely beyond atrocious, but again I just can't shake the feeling that we will come in flat and they will make us pay.

From reading the pages I believe some fairly harsh comments and yes they weren't the best in attack but bloody hell they stepped up in defence. I'm 100% proud of the boys and they completely fought for the win and deserved the win. The season is early and we are only going to get better no doubt about it. I haven't been this excited about a broncos side for quite some time and premiership is definitely there for the boys.

How many times have we heard that chestnut? He looked exactly like he looked when he played for us. Did just enough to get by.
But at least now he's not on $1million a year. Average isn't so bad for a q cup player.

Looked early on that he had a target on him.
Good thing is we can get the win even when he's off.

I dont think he was that bad. Couple of misplaced passes early on but when we need a big play he was the one who put it on for Capewell.

Kevvies forward rotation was excellent last week. This week it was terrible.

Wasn't pretty but when the game was there to be won the boys kept turning up. Patty/Walsh on Stone, Capey/Herbie on Isaake then the coup de gras Kotoni Staggs.

Dolphins were brave, Brisbane just refused to give in because....

We’re the Broncos
The mighty Broncos
We keep fighting every second till the end

We’re the Broncos
The greatest team on earth
We’re the heart of all Queensland

Never stop
We never rest
On and on we beat the best
Never giving up we bleed maroon and gold

For the league
We risk it all
Miles above
We’re standing tall
We’re the finest and the greatest club of all

We’re the Broncos
The mighty Broncos
We keep fighting every second till the end

We breathe in our soul
The best game of all
We are the Broncos of Queensland

Hey!!

Well

The Broncos are our name
Through the north we won our fame
Being handy with the ball
And we drove the Blues insane
And we put on a move
And we scored a certain try
So sing out our alibi

You didn’t know we had to beat ya
And we’re so sorry my friends
You didn’t know we had to beat ya

We will never do it again

Bullshit

Probably Fleglers best game for awhile. No dumb penalties and took some hard runs for good metres. Thought both Paix and Walters were ordinary. We would be scary with a good 9. To be fair Walters is a 5/8 filling in at hooker but sometimes he looks a bit lost as to what's going on around him.

Still a great win and managing to win the ones where you don't play so well is a sign of a good team.

Good effort by the Redcliffe boys but losing O'Sullivan for the season is going to hurt them big time.

Nah I don't think he was bad just off his game abit, set up the Capewell try and his lead up work for the Cobbo try was brilliant, put the defence in 2 minds which gave Walsh alot of space.

I just dont think we have enough to win that game without him right now. Our younger guys are still a work in progress and i dont think they have the calm head to come up with big plays under pressure regularly.
