3. Jack Reed - What a performance. Bennett clearly gave him an ultimatum to get his form back up and running and he has done so. It's hard to belive most of BHQ including myself were calling for his head as early as a month ago. Copley has his work cut out for him.

2. Vidot - Probably the best game of his career. He didn't put a foot wrong and raped the Eagles right edge defence receiving quality ball from Reed all night.

1. Hunt - What can you say about this man. Came out and made DCE look like a bitch mere days after he signed one of the most lucrative deals in NRL history.

Not a great deal separating Hunt and Reed. Despite Jack playing out of his skin, I felt Ben's kicking kept Manly completely out of the contest in that first half, which was the cornerstone of our victory.

Dare I say it, but that's the most composed and complete performance I've seen from him at half back.

Reed was all class out there. Great in attack and bullied Lyon out of the contest. I'm curious to see how Copley would benefit from Milf at 6 but it's very hard to envisage Reed losing his spot on current form.

Regarding Vidot, he really showed what he's worth this week. I'll agree Maranta has stepped up to the plate this year, and addressed much of his prior shortcomings. My feeling is that if Vidot can do the same, he could be an absolute monster. I hope we keep him.
