Could be why Copley was named 18th man. Move Copley to wing with Oates into the back row.

As much as we can't afford to lose Parker (especially with McGuire and Blair out) i would be excited to see what Oates offers us from the pack.

Maranta and Kahu aren't out, who does Copley move on the wing for?

They would have to move one of Kahu or Maranta off the wing to fit Copley in as both were named to start and I can't see them moving Kahu given we need a goalkicking option and I wouldn't want Maranta kicked out either. Reed could probably spend sometime in the backrow and have Copley slot in at centre later in the match but I would prefer a specialist forward off the bench personally. Time to bite the bullet and blood a forward, suggestions?

Griffin

Channel 9 reporting Parker is far less chance of backing up, typical GC Bulletin. Based on that I think Oates will slot into the backrow and Gillett slots into lock.

Huge bruise on his arm; he's been wearing padding all week to even be able to train.

****, of course this shit would pile up when we're about to face Manly.

Is Vidot injured? I think we need him for this game.
Stagg should come in IMO.

Vidot is out for about 6 weeks.

Not sure where this bounce back factor comes from.. If the past few years are anything to go by then Manly are likely to lose..

In the past few years, 5 teams have lost their following game after a coach was sacked during the season. Only a couple have actually won..

Man some of us are obviously still bruised from the last* couple years of losses.

This is a new Broncos were talking about. They are more than just a couple key forwards.

Agreed Blair and Parker are big losses, but we have plenty of depth to shuffle into the gaps and let's not forget Manly are bruised and battered from last week and without a few players of their own, let alone a lot of their players are lacking on form.

We just have way too much class over them in all other areas and I'm still very confident of a victory here.

Parker playing? 1910

Most of what you've said is true. . But you can't blame our skepticism on untried players in the starting line up. .

Parker and Blair are HUGE losses. Their experience and workloads are so under estimated.

if we are to lose a game in our run home this is the one im not to concerned about. yes i hate manly, but i fucking hate all the remaining teams as well.

Add Hodges to the doubt list

Where are the sources about Hodges and Parker being doubtful coming from?

I would rest hodges. No point doing his knee and losing him for 6 weeks. Coply and kahu can do the job

parker is all good and hodges had a scare but should be right.. via broncs website via facebook
