Gonna generalize a bit and break it down by position -

Backs - Phil Coates and Verhoeven had decent showings, but it doesn't seem like any of our current first grade guys will be looking over their shoulder too much. Actually I'm kinda really hoping the backline stay healthy now.

Spine - Mmmmm, I can see why we picked up Pezet. After Reyno and Hunt depart, we are going to be looking pretty light in the halves for quality. Duffy had a couple of good kicks but also dropped ball and gave away penalties. McConnell was more or less unsighted. Bukowski best on ground other than that shanky kick out on the full so nice to see some healthy competition for the 9 for once.

Forwards - Semu and BTK awesome, they've put out a big message for the expanded bench. Lets hope one of them really kicks on so the Haas replacement situation takes care of itself.

Is it me or does it look like BTK has slimmed down quite a bit this pre-season?

Allen easily the fittest I’ve ever seen him, just need to get possession so he can take a run instead of being all defense.
