Woke up this morning with no hangover just the warm feeling of wood and the knowledge we’d done it.

If turncoates can jump ship in search of a premiership I think we should encourage Grant to do the same.

I looked at grant last night and almost had a bit of sympathy. I hope he never wins a premiership in a storm jersey. I'd have him come to the Broncos to win one though...

I'd never want that cheating grub in Broncos colours.

He spends more time diving, whinging, appealing to the ref, intentionally getting tangled up in the PTB, refusing the play the ball to milk penalties and generally just trying to manipulate the rules and the ref than playing footy. I hate everything about the way he plays the game and I think he's a disgrace. He embodies everything that I hate about the Storm.

The fact that he is so extremely talented and doesn't need any of that stuff in his game to be elite just makes it so much worse.

I never, ever, ever, want to see Coates in a Broncos jersey ever again. **** off and stay ****ed off and I hope he never sees a trophy.
 
Is this real? Did that just ****ing happen? What a night. I pestered people online with stories of joy until about 230 last night. Consumed so much post match stuff, consumed so much rum, today will be the same.

Rewatching for the third time right now. I’m so happy I got to experience that with my boy. I will NEVER forget this night.

Unbelievable.

I was 21 when we last won and in hindsight I took winning grand finals for granted.

Each year of heartache. Both of the grand final heart breaks. Every single season of hope and then disappointment made this so sweet.

I’m grateful for those losses now because it has elevated this moment.

I’m happy for the team. I’m happy for the city of Brisbane. I’m happy for the fans overall. But I am so so so so happy to have gone on this journey with each and every one of you.

The broncos have defined who I am as a person. From that weird kid at school with the broncos hat. To now being that weird dude who wears a broncos jersey everywhere.

This team means so much to me and this win is a vindication of my obsession.

I’m in love with this moment.

Sport is undefeated.
