I like how the last time we beat Storm in a GF, it was a loss against Storm during the regular season that was the turning point for us.

Same thing happened this year. That loss against Storm in Melbourne was the turning point for us, and then we go on to beat Storm in the GF.

I love the hate. I love when people make up excuses as to why we should of lost etc. It just makes winning more enjoyable.

When we were at our peak in the 90s, I went to school in the St George area in NSW, grew up a Broncos supporter my whole life so you can imagine what I had to deal with lol

Always remember, the only reason we cop so much hate is because we're the best and we won the premiership. And they can't stand it because whatever team they support are shit lol

People were quiet in our bad times because we won a wooden spoon etc, they almost felt sorry for us... but now?

Watched the replay for like the 20th time this week.

Ezra Mam is a big game player. He doesn't get overawed by the occasion, which is something that can happen to a lot of young halves. Two GF's and he's been top 2 best on ground in both.

If we can make sure we keep a strong pack going forward, we've got a pretty bright future with the likes of Walsh, Mam, Mariner, Karapani in the back line.
 
I watched the replay for the umpteenth time as well today and I noticed when Riki caught the ball at the end, but before Stefano completes the tackle, hass, mam and one other turned their backs to celebrate already.

In an alternate timeline Stefano strips the ball and then it turns into a 4 on 1 overlap on the left hand side, a la Inglis prelim try ptsd. Munster sideline conversion wins them the game and papy wins the clive churchill. The mental impact of this would have been magnitudes worse than 2015 and 2023.

Walsh shouts "FK" into the sky a la Locky in that prelim, then X Coates uses this win to convince P Coates to move to the Storm. Harry Grant also never starts following the broncos on insta. Then Buzz, Gordie and others comes out and hammers the team and Madge for living uo to the stuckup tag. Stefano well and truly lives rent free in our heads for the next 15 years, and Bellamy extends his time with the storm for another 3 seasons. FACTHUNT's backside remains untouched (no tattoo).

But luckily for us in our timeline, Stefano already gave up and barely touched Riki to complete the tackle.

Man, what a game that was? It was the last game that I’ve been to Suncorp & I miss those days very much.

Who would’ve thought that in Locky’s last game @Suncorp, he would be the one to kick the field goal to win us the game but get kicked in the skull for real to end it all?

You’re right, that Beale’s kick into Locky’s face demolished us that year.
