Can anyone give me a lowdown on how Spence, Natusch and Britt are going if possible please? I haven't been able to catch much QLD Cup this year unfortunately.

BroncoMatt is the best man to ask, but I've seen a few games from Spence this year and all have been very impressive.

Both Reddy players have been plagued with injuries. Poor Matty Britt has had no luck at all. He was injured early in Round 1, he then come back in reserves in Reserve grade in Round 4 and had a blinder. Was back in first grade for the Easts game last week and got hurt and is out for a couple of weeks again [icon_thumbs_do

Spence played really well in round 1, got hurt in game 2 and also came back against Easts last week. Even though Rysn Cullen scored 4 tries Spence was the difference between the sides. Charged down a kick and regathered to score a try and then with some great footwork at the line he made the break that set up the match winning try. There are some highlights here -> http://www.youtube.com/user/TheRedcliff ... fXUG1qnNr0

Mick has plenty of potential. He really stings in defence and bends the line with ball in hand. He does need to contol his aggression becuase he is a bit of a hot head.

Hala also continues impress, goes about his work in a no nonsnese fashion. He reminds me a lot of Petero - very hard to tackle and and makes good metres every hit up.

Spence & Hala v Sims & McGuire on Sunday @ Bishop Park should be a good one

Based on what I've seen so far this season I expect Spence and Hala to really show Sims and McGuire up this weekend.

Oh snap really.... I'm so gunna have tobeat the kids up for the TV then hahaha

Yeah I start work at 4 today so will now be able to see most of the game - had no chance of getting to the coast to see it live.

A good mate of mine plays q cup for wynnum and said Natusch has been solid but nothing special. Doesn't reckon he's playing good enough for nrl.

Matty Britt has his best game of the season in the Dolphins victory over Burleigh today.

Hala was also solid again.

I'm sure at least one of his ribs got knocked back there!!

I have an announcement that I know at least one person here will give a shit about. This may not please everyone but it has to be done.

Right throughout my life I have and will continue to be a proud Darling Downs man and due to this and a passion for Rugby League, grew to love the Toowoomba Clydesdales. I was there for their 2 Grand Final wins and devestated when Pat O'Shea delivered the news that the team would not compete in the 2007 Queensland Cup. I am still devestated that they still do not compete in the competition.

However, the show must go on. The Queensland Cup is a fantastic Rugby League competition and still worth following and finding a team to support. My first allegiance was to the Easts Tigers. Aeetee and Flutterby kindly welcomed me to Langlands Park for the first time in 2007 and I thought I had found my new team. However, while staying supportive of the Tigers over the last few years, the passion just wasn't there and still isn't there. I love watching them play but something changed.

A few weeks ago I joined my good mate BroncoMatt out at Dolphin Oval for the game between Redcliffe and Easts. Of course, the feeling was that I was supporting the away team on that occasion. However, something hit me. While watching the game, at some stages I actually WANTED the Dolphins to score a try, just to keep it interesting. As a passionate Broncos and Queensland fan over the years, I have NEVER wished this upon my team and never will. The experience at Dolphin Oval that day has made me realise something. Something that a few people will not like.

From now on, I am officially a supporter of the Redcliffe Dolphins. I always enjoy going to Dolphin Oval to watch the footy and I really enjoy the footy that the Dolphins play. They also have a good affiliation with the Broncos and a good Leagues Club to boot. You will see me out at Langlands Park still to watch the Tigers, and I will cheer for them on most occasions, but my heart lies in the red and white. However, please note that if the Toowoomba Clydesdales ever enter back into the Queensland Cup, my allegiance will be with them once again.
