Heard on radio some guy called in that with Lions Grand Final victory AFL it will become biggest code in Queensland. Apparently it's booming in SEQ and more schools playing AFL in Queensland then NRL does this truth. He said 45/55 afl to nrl split and projected to be 60/40 in 10 years time.

junior numbers is a pointless metric, soccer wins easily in that and what has that translated to?

Rugby league always has more barriers to entry in the juniors because of the physical nature and the same thing happens in the US with American football compared to Soccer but it is easily the number 1 sport when it comes to TV nothing else comes close.
