Not sure if I just missed it but it looks like next to no broncos players are getting a run this weekend.

i didn’t see any of these guys in team lists:

Wilison
Mozer
Hoeter
Piakura
Mariner
Hosking
Gamble
Queensland Cup teams typically just copy + paste their game day teamlists from the previous round. Since the majority of the Broncos players were playing NRL or were filling in as 18th man like Mariner there's your answer.

Notice that Te Kura and Wilson were both named for Norths and Souths respectively.

I don't know why they bother. It used to make sense with Big League but even then some clubs would take the mickey and name players who were always going to be a late replacement.

Ah makes sense. I thought we had moved passes that. Cheers Pete

It's Country week too so a lot of teams are leaving today and doing community work in their area leading into the game. Going away for four days may not fit in with the Broncos at the moment.

Isaako played for Tweed today- scored a try with a good put down but didn't do too much on the left wing.

The first one is the better of the two, he was playing centre on the right and cut back in past a lot of Cutters to score under the posts. Great angled run.

Second try was just catch and put down in the 80th minute.

Anyone see the wynumm game? Other than tries, how did he do? Team list indicated he played centre despite wearing the 5.

He swapped a bit with Lyon but was in the centres a lot on the right. He was strong his leg drive and speed off the mark is unbelievable. His legs are so massive.

Massive challenge for Te Kura today against the Bears. They’re just relentless. Polotini will go at him and send him traffic all day.

Does anyone know if Pacifique Treizeis joining the competition next year, there was talk about them joining in 23 a year ago but then I never heard anything else about it.

If I was after a fullback then Taine Tuaupiki would be the one. Fast, smart and just having a great season.

15 games
12 tries (Fifth)
19 line breaks (first)
217 runs (first)
15 line break assists (Fourth)
15 try assists (third)

Love watching him, the game just quickens up when he gets the ball.

Why don't the Storm chase him?

I know it is probably the head gear that influences it a little but he does give me Jerome Hughes vibes (when he was at fullback) at times.

because he isn't in the starting 13 of an NRL team.

Well duh- you've got seven weeks and need a key position- you are not going to be looking for a three year project.
