I'm still struggling to accept we have the NSW coach
as the Broncos coach.
I thought I was doing OK with it........ that article has triggered me.
You'll be ok with it once he wins us a premiershipI'll never be ok with it. Ever.

I think origin was just a temporary thing until he found a new club head coach role. I think he still would have done origin for the year.I wonder if he’d have still taken up the NSW job if he had known the Broncos job was pending. He seemed to drop it pretty quick when the offer was made.
Yeah wow. Kev v Slater in a battle about how to play fullback. How could you possibly pick between themThe ‘secret tug of war’ over Reece Walsh as new report exposes Broncos-Queensland divide

Kevie had his shot and completely lost it after losing that premiership. I would agree having him at the club, but not coaching. He has no real control or experience to be a real head coach.Kevvie lost the plot
Makes you wonder how many other players in our team have been told to play a certain way.Yeah wow. Kev v Slater in a battle about how to play fullback. How could you possibly pick between them

I think the talk about Haas in origin is a bit much... he's played 14 origin games now and he's never had a seriously dominant performance like he did last series. One of the criticisms has been his inability to dominate at that level compared to Patty who came in and owned it from his first series.Look at Haas in origin this year vs his weekly club form.
I would say Haas had his best games of his career in 23 playing for us and no Origin game came close to it before or after.I think the talk about Haas in origin is a bit much... he's played 14 origin games now and he's never had a seriously dominant performance like he did last series. I think credit should go towards Madge for getting him up to play that way rather than anything about Kev holding him back.
Madge had the NSW team actually giving a shit about origin for once, which you could tell from the way everyone was talking. That is what I'm interested in, because it shows man management as well as the known technical footy knowledge... rather than being one or the other.
In regards to Kevvie... I think Payne probably played his best footy at club land under Kevvie and showed the most development he's had through the ball playing that was added to his game and he's developed an offload.
There is far more that can still be added to his game, but he's been playing since 2018 and under many coaches now, and Madge and Kevvie are the ones that have probably got the most out of him that hasn't just been his natural athleticism.
Better than an ex-storm player who fucked us over more times than I can count. Or a cowboys player who grew up hating us too. We’d really be hindering ourselves to not be open to a person from another state coaching usI'm still struggling to accept we have the NSW coach

Not on this forum because we are mostly dedicated broncos fans, but 95% of the fans outraged by a nsw coach of the Broncos are people who have melbourne as their 2nd team bcos they have all those great Queensland legends in their team so are basically a qld team..... aka wankers...Better than an ex-storm player who fucked us over more times than I can count.
