Righto, so i'd thought i'd make a thread where we can list players who aren't playing anymore that may have been forgotten. Or players that are playing and you're not too sure where they are.

My starting contribution:

Luke Phillips - former Roosters fullback.
Richie Barnett - played for the Sharks and Roosters.
Scott Carter - not too sure about the last name, used to play in the halves for Penrith.
Aaron Moule - centre/winger for the Storm.
Ian Rubin - tank from the Roosters.
Richard Swain - used to make a lot of tackles.

Good thread.

Luke Phillips - made a series of try saving tackles in the 2000 Grand Final. Stopped the Roosters being beaten by a lot more. Career destroyed by serious back injury I think. What is it with Roosters fullbacks and back injuries? He also played for the Cowboys and Manly I think.

Richie Barnett - had his face completely dismantled while playing for the Sharks. Who did he run into?

Scott Carter - Steve Carter was his name. Annoying player, one of the best nigglers in the game and a tough nut.

Aaron Moule - Really talented player earmarked for Queensland Origin who suffered from constant injuries.

Ian Rubin - represented Russia in the 2000 World Cup!

Richard Swain - player who was absolutely brilliant for Melbourne, came to the Broncos and was sod ordinary. Hmm...

ESL mate. Believed he left us to go to Hull, but not 100% on the club. Think he's still banging around in the UK, as well as pretty much 90% of Kiwi test players from 1999-2005 [icon_lol1.

Some former Broncos.

Robbie Ross - only played in 1996 due to the Super League war, but scored 12 tries in 12 games. Went on to be a Test fullback while playing for the Storm.

Danny Bampton - injury ended his career far too young. Rated by Cyril Connell as the best centre talent he'd seen. And this from a bloke who discovered Steve Renouf!

John Driscoll - excellent hooker who never really made it.

Brett Galea - back rower from the mid-90s.

Craig Teevan - never made it at the Broncos, but carved out a neat career at the Crushers and was part of Fatty's Heroes in 1995.

Jason Twist - more known for his time with Wests Panthers, but was part of the Broncos reserve grade squad that won the premiership in 1990, our first major trophy. Has since gone on to consistently represent Australia at Oztag!
