[icon_lol1. Hahahaha...I was watching a Souths game once and I thought I heard someone say Paulson! Now it all makes sense.

Didn't Irwin get kicked out of the Raiders because of drink-driving? I remember reading an article and he was blaming Todd Carney...Such a shame because he had to the chance to become the Broncos' fullback/winger. Ah well, we have Karmichael. icon_thumbs_u

Yeah Irwin got sacked in the whole Carney police car chase incident and Carney didn't. Irwin was the passenger and it was his car from memory. He was pissed because Todd was a star for them and he wasn't he got the sack and Todd didn't a bit like when Mad Dog and a nuffy both tested positive at Newcastle and they sacked the Nuffy and came up with an eloborate story about Mad Dog requiring the steroids for a medical condition.

He went across with Tony Duggan and Jace Van Dijk to play for the Celtic Crusaders in Wales (under the guidance of John Dixon) for the past couple of years, but he is now back in the Qld Cup I believe. Playing for Ipswich IIRC.

Always rated him hey. Not sure whether he was ever really cut out for the NRL, but he's been so solid in the Qld Cup throughout his career.

Yeah playing in the centres for Wynnum. Not doing much. Personally always thought he was one of the most over-rated players (he's from Bundy and played heaps against my bro, so I've seen a lot of him play over the years). But definitely got the raw deal in the incident with Carney.
