Ahhh, long have we waited, but it finally came. The Jet has left the tarmac. Awesome combination with Milf tonight and one that I expect we'll start to see a lot more of. It seems he has found his place in the side now. Making linebreaks, setting up tries, supporting all the way to the Caxton Street end. Good grief, how many tries this year are these two guys gonna score working off each other like we saw tonight?

yep i said it last year about milf and ill say it for roberts - when have those blokes produced a game turning effort in a match that mattered in front of a colloseum like crowd prior to coming to red hill?

the closest for roberts i spose allstars maybe? but nothing like this. having a packed to the rafters crowd screaming heads off after a try like last night will do fucking wonders, and the best thing is they didnt do some ridiculous drastic shit like a shit take set play or waste a ruck just to get him a run for.nothing, it was dinky di deadset rip them open and smoke em from nothing opportunity with nothing but pace, albeit with a hand from milf.

if he didnt feel at home this year he'll damn well be setting himself in now as part of the furniture.

like i also said, roberts to debut for origin before anyone else, oates as a possible exception

Even better than his try was him getting into Winterstein immediately after Milf's try. I loved that, and he clearly looks comfortable with the boys. Great signs.

Told you all they'd unleash him around round 4 or 5.

There's a story behind that try from the game actually, I said early that there would be an 80m try from Roberts at some stage in the game.....literally just before the pass went to Milford a guy I was sitting with said "90m try to Roberts here". Awesome.

If you watch the replay of that try, just the way he gained speed in support of Milford - He took about 3-4 meters to get going, but once he hit stride, holy ****. He put about 10 meters on Winterstein in 15 meters. Made everyone else look like they were standing still.

It's been so long since we've had genuine pace in this team. It's fucking exciting.

Maybe [MENTION=8536]Super Freak[/MENTION] could just edit a clip with all the camera angles available of Roberts looming in support for that one try, because his speed was incredible.

Yeah he actually loops around the long way, around Winterstein and blows past Maranta and is 5 metres clear of both of them in the space of 30 metres.

Yes, same for me ...... when Hunt clicks into gear we can surely expect to see Roberts get a lot more ball.

Holy f*** how fast is Roberts. We've all obviously seen his talents before at the Titans but wow...the speed at which he caught up to support Milf was crazy fast. Also, i didn't realise how quick Morgan is. For a pretty solid guy he has some pace for the Cows
