Seriously the NSW Selectors are clowns he has a good kicking game and not much else and was found out because his right hand man Braith played like crap. The kid has some talent but he is a very long way off Origin standard and he is a long way off winning matches off his own bat (a true sign of a great halve).

Wallace has shown more potential than Pearce IMO. That's why he was selected ahead of all the other halfbacks for game 1. Pearce only made it because Wallace was injured.

Also Wallace played much better in game 2 than Pearce did in game 3, and NSW got completely dominated in game 2. icon_thumbs_u

I think Pearce might have more talent but wasn't even close to ready for the step up, Wallace seems to have a lot more balance in his game and doesn't rely solely on his kicking game like Pearce and showed in game 1 he can play a lone hand albeit with a very dominant pack. I don't think either was ready this year to play Origin it just shows the sense of desperation NSW has currently got in the halves. Out of their bunch Mullen is the pick he is class already and is getting better all the time, he has the sort of ability to tear sides apart which he has done on a number of occasions since coming back this year.
