Why is it not ok to hit someone in the head with your forearm, but perfectly acceptable to collect them with your upper arm/shoulder? Just as, if not more, dangerous IMO. Shoulder charges, as spectacular as they can be, need to go.

Definitely agree.

I was absolutely livid when i saw that shoulder on Clinton, how is that not a penalty? He attacked the head.

Yet, Hodges tries to play the ball and steps 15cm off the mark and they get a penalty.

Stupid.

How the hell are we only down by 8?

We're holding on quite well given the physical punishment we've taken but its clear some of our forwards aren't capable of absorbing it like we've been able to in the past. Parker in particular is being cleaned up at will by his opponents. Nevertheless they're still in it and they're giving it a decent go.

As for Hodgo - being a real imbecile tonight in my opinion and playing dumb footy on top of that. Needs to get his head in order.

We look very much under the pump at the moment but still look threatening on the rare occassion we get some decent ball in good field position. Its as obvious as hell, but an evening out in possession should see us fly right back into this game.

Here's hoping for a positive second 40.

Maybe our ruck attack needs to change? If I have 1 criticism of Wb its his persistence with the 1 out stuff. Webcke, Civo, Thorn etc could get away with it but our current crop can't and its up to the coach to come up with some variation to protect them.

Ennis also should shoulder some of the blame for poor reads but that is how we have played all year, giving teams a free shot sooner or later will lead to injury.

Between Ennis and Hodges we have the 2 biggest whackers in the game. So much for our no dickheads policy. [icon_shru
