The best way to respond was to just roll up the sleeves, pull off the occasional big hit, and win the damn game. We did that beautifully. O'Meley did nothing illegal so what's the point of instigating what could be an all-in-brawl in such a high intensity game? At this part of the season, more than ever, it's important we keep our heads. Thaiday and Carroll did enough in defence to let the Roosters know we were there to play hard as well. It's not the 1970's anymore and composure is very important, and I think the way we won this game last night proved that. The Broncos obviously knew the Roosters would try and intimidate us out of the contest and they did their very best to ensure this didn't happen. The Broncos rock!!

I understand why the Roosters hate Ennis and Parker they both niggle constantly. Kenny was my MOM he did so much work and he came into the fray at a bloody tough time and just got stuck in. We need more than a 40 minute performance for the rest of the finals particularly week 3.
