Exactly. I'm gonna need to see big things from Tesi in these upcoming trials
I agree completely. His game really needs to go to another level and for me Its the 1%'ers that will do it. Competing on everything, I don't want to see him pulling up short, not finding a reason to support and giving up on cover defense or kick defusal. I need him to be in or wanting to be in the picture on everything, this is what the elite fullbacks do.

Once he finds that competitive spirit the rest will follow. He has the physical and natural talent that once that penny drops he will find the timing, the space will open and the tries will come.

I think Tesi's mindset will be different coming into this year.

Last year he was shifted over to center and Isaako was ahead of him.... and then when he wasnt cutting it at center he was dropped back to ISC.

It's concerning that he somewhat dropped his head after being sent back to ISC, but at least when he was given a chance back in NRL and at his preferred position he was able to hold onto it through performances.

This year he comes in as first choice fullback.

- Isaako is gone next year
- Herbie has been getting flagged as a contender, but he was as well last year and was beaten out by Tesi and Isaako
- Cobbo is the next young stud coming through but he is just as capable at center or wing... as is Herbie... and can therefore be accommodated in the lineup (ie. picking your best 17 and finding them a spot)

So from that perspective Tesi comes in and has little pressure coming for his position specifically... that can let him focus entirely on his game without looking over his shoulder.

I'm interested to see how he goes without that pressure.... I think that can be important for a young guy trying to learn his trade. Pressure for positions is important, but when you're trying to learn how to play against the big boys and getting shuffled around, it's like the pressure that builds up in the Aust cricket team... every failure could be your last.

He knows Cobbo is a possibility to take his spot in the future, he knows Walsh is looking to come home and he knows Ponga is every chance of moving if it comes to it.... but none of those moves are happening this year, so he pretty well has full ownership of the position this year, it's on him to not **** it up.

He will be an important cog in the team this year as we will need attacking spark from our 6 and 1, and Reynolds works best digging into the line and creating space for the outside men.... he has to be able to finish off those movements and get the ball to the attacking threats

He mostly held onto his position by not being Isaako. I don’t rate him.

The worst swap in history was Reece Walsh for [.......].

The swap was actually Reece Walsh for Selwyn Cobbo ... because a
Walsh leaving freed up a development spot to give to Cobbo.

And why waste a development spot on someone guaranteed to leave

So we won that swap

The swap was for Paul Turner but he weaseled out of it.

Good thing for us tge initial swap fell through because Cobbo was able to take the vacant spot.

Either by luck or by design ... we win

We already had Selwyn. The Warriors gypped us.

you don't have to, you don't choose the team. you also don't rate Kevvie so really he's in with a good chance.
Who said I don’t rate Kevie? I’ve praised him heaps recently. I reasonably questioned some of his ideas and decisions.

We already had Selwyn. The Warriors gypped us.

He wasn't on either a development contract or a top 30 contract...

Which means he couldn't have played and is 6 months behind in his development

In the meantime we would have had to continue developing Walsh for the Warriors instead of Cobbo for us

I reported myself after writing that post hopefully the staff remove it soon.
I apologize but I appreciate your sarcasm.
I couldn't remove it earlier because I was stuck behind a slow driver in the right lane, I apologise.
