Not sure if this is the case but it probably is, where alot of Modern stadiums have the concrete base and then the thin later of soil and turf above, they can't handle decent amounts of water at all, in that situation they have to use some sand to absorb it like what Happens at Suncorp but I don't know if we have a concrete base underneath or not so it might not be the same comparison.

Makes you wonder with comments of not enough rain for the field to be like that. Did the Rorters put the sprinklers on in an attempt to nullify our running game.

They'll talk about the Roosters and so they should, that was embarassing.
The calls made through the week about Madge training them too hard, it's unfortunate but we won't really get an opportunity to prove them wrong until later in the year and at that point they'll have forgotten they even said anything. These journos know how to write a headline without ever copping any accountability.

Not just that, he's playing in a team that actually has talent in it. He's been dragging a dogshit club into somewhat competitive territory for years. Half their squad would not make first grade at most other clubs and that's been the case for a good long while.
