yeah. silly mistakes can be fixed easily and i dont see us as a side who will continue to make them.

i turned on fox to see the 15 minutes or so in the first half where we were going good. that try where we went the length of the field was good footy. dont feel so bad now but didnt put myself through watching the 2nd half

Everyone knows I think Corey Norman is about as useful as tits on a bull. But I thought he was good last night. He was there for all the kicks, was safe under the high balls he had to deal with, and while he wasn't flashy, he chimed into the attack OK when needed.

I don't think fullback is our problem.

As far as the backs go, the defence was woeful on the right. Hodges, Prince and Maranta need to get their shit together. The left wasn't so bad, Jamie Lyon was relatively well contained.

The real issue is the lack of energy and the fact they looked fucked after 10 minutes of the second half. And generally, apart from during the streak of penalties, the forwards were always being dominated. Our pack is our strength, and last night it was poor.

Hannant is short of a gallop but I'd still start with him and McGuire. IMO, I'd drop Thaiday altogether, but I know that won't happen, so he should go back to the back row. Gillett on the bench. Dodds, Anderson and J. Wallace or some other young forward with him. That's right, no Ben Hunt. As much as I think the guy is a future rep halfback being wasted, having him come on to dummyhalf is just stupid. Macca needs to play 80 minutes week in, week out. He's old enough and capable enough.

I'd also consider dropping Reed, either altogether or to the bench as the 4th "forward". Hoffman looks to me like a good runner for the centres, and Kemp in on the wing. I like Jack Reed, but he's just not giving us much anymore.

all that said, too many changes too quickly causes issues, so I don't expect Griffin to change much at all for next week. but **** I hope the players pull their finger out.

Stagg threw one bad pass where he and his runner miss-timed it. He threw plenty of good passes however it wasn't what we needed. I don't know why you're getting stroppy about Stagg when I defended your point of view.

Broncos were playing too laterally for those passes to be effective. I don't know why you're still banging on about it though.
