His playing no different as he would at fullback, except defensively you don't get the benefit of his ball returns, attacking wise his ineffective as always.

Very happy with that first half. Some impressions so far:

++ Daniel Vidot has been exceptional. Not just the try but getting out of the in goal earlier in the game and some great runs.
++ Ben Barba has added another dimension to this team. His touches have been all class.
++ Great defence on our own line
++ Maranta hasn't fucked up yet and is showing a good reading of the game. If only he understood sidelines as well!

-- I have Josh Hoffman's pass total at 1, an inside ball to Gillett when he was flat footed and nothing was on. He had two situations where he could run or pass/run then pass and he's been tackled both times. He thinks he has some ability as a half. He's so wrong.
-- Our kicking game looks awful.

Seriously, next game Hoffman HAS to be on the left wing and Vidot on the right. This is just pathetic, an inside centre playing with superstars like Hunt and McCullough in the spine.

There's a lot to like about how we've been playing, especially the new recruits so far, but Hoffman is the little turd in a bowl of cereal.

Have to agree with all of that. Will add that I was happy to see Mr Kennedys impact lol

Decent half, barba has been the best by far. vidot is up there. Kicking game of the halves is very meh.
