Kicking game is only downfall at present

I'm pretty happy with the first half. unlucky to let them score a try from a kick.

Barba is showing some really good signs and has had some good touches.
Vidot is looking strong and has had some good runs and a good try. could well be an excellent bargain buy for us this year.
Kennedy has had a few good runs.

oh and Ennis is a grub.

Honestly, we've been very good, even Maranta has been rock solid. Our only problem, perhaps predictably so, is our halves. I honestly think Sandow at 6 would be far more effective.

This game could not be going any better IMO. Everyone, bar Hoffman is playing well and we're still winning.

Hoffman is a great player but absolutely useless at half, awful kicking and two average passes all game. Niko would be way better. Replace Maranta with Hoffman next round and put Niko in the halves, having a 5/8 who can do nothing but defend is really killing our attack and putting way too much pressure on Hunt.

I have to say that Parker at prop is a total joke.... he has to go back to lock with Gillett to the bench.... Hannant or Kennedy to start alongside McGuire

I'm actually quite happy with the overall performance so far. The defense is improved so much, and I do believe the extra fitness work has come in handy.

Hoffman, he needs to start doing more with the ball. Running into defenders and poor kicks are not doing us any favours.

Hunts kicking game is also not that good.

Kennedy needs to dial it down a bit. I don't mind aggression, but there is such thing as too much.

I'm still worried about Broncos losing this game. I remember last year, the Broncos went into the break with a 6 point lead and ending up losing the second half.

Good first half, really happy with our defense, our kicking game is horrid though, really need Hunt & McCullough to step up their kicking game (And for Hoffman to never kick again, ever)

I'm most impressed with our fitness. Macca played 40 straight, hopefully he plays the whole 80. We look strong and fit all the way across the park. Defensive effort has been great too.

Yeah, agree with that too. One of Gillett or Glenn on the bench, Parker at lock.

Did you see that play near the end of the game though? We have a deep line set to our right, Hoffman gets the ball 3 of 4 men in, and he steps inside twice and takes a 10m run. I'm not saying he should run to the line and throw a bullet pass to put his centre in space, but at least pass the fucking thing, that's why we have the line set.

That's how I wanted the team named personally. If we do that I'll be far more confident in our season.

I'm still worried about Broncos losing this game. I remember last year, the Broncos went into the break with a 6 point lead and ending up losing the second half.

True though usually you would put that automatically down to our fitness going into halftime, I don't see us having that issue in this game so far.
