Round 1 - Storm vs Broncos

The Storm have scored off a blatant knock-on, and an error that was otherwise looking like an overlap on our part, against a Storm side that were 16/17 in completions at one stage. 10-0 is pretty good. We may not win, but they’ve shown guts.

It'll take time to find out. Like this game has shown, early rounds are all about forwards murdering each other. Then as the players skills come back, then we see actual creativity and what not.

Halves receiving the ball on the run and linking together... kodi attacking the blind more as well showing that he's looking ahead for retreating defenders.

Difficult to gauge having to come up against one of the strongest defences straight up and having zero ball in attacking zones

F*ck yeah. I’m impressed. Speed of the game for r1 is at its best. We’ve defended madly. Lodge the best for me. Boys has been good. Gillette and Su’a beasts in defence. Su’a a little unlucky with drop ball but I like it so far. Isaako good to. Staggs is one of the best prospects imo.

Yeah, he's gone backwards if anything by the looks of it, kicking game & defense were his big weaknesses, guess what, they still are.

Let's hope S.O.S carves up the ISC for a couple of weeks and demands selection.

did any 1 serious think we look look a complete differant side in round 1. it will take time for players to get there head around how siebold wants them to play. in the heat of battle and under pressure teams will tend to fall back into bad habbits.

Don't think he'd be making much of difference mate. We just started badly and were fighting our way back ever since. Also didn't help we have dropped the ball a few times and Melbourne have barely made a mistake.
