POST GAME [Round 10, 2022] Sea Eagles vs Broncos

No the celebration sponsor was literally XXXX. There is something to do with it but that’s not it. I also think if that was the case the video wouldn’t be going up instead of putting the beers away. Could be an NRL order that celebrations are to be kept to a minimum and you have to be out by a certain time as a lot of work has to go into setting up for the next day.
Ah yeah, great point! Seems like it would definitely be related to magic round and how many teams have to share the change rooms. Not such a big deal as the second game on Friday night but when there’s 3 games on back to back it would be a punish to clean up anything other than water.

I stand corrected. Wasn't apparent at the time. Still good coaching to put Cobbo there to get some time at 1. What you got against the coaching anyway??? :rofl
Nothing. I have given the coaching heaps of wraps. Just not for this because it was literally the only option once TMM was injured.

Credit where credit is due, I thought Gamble had one of his best games for us last night. Heaps of effort plays and the strip + Oates inside ball try were both things of beauty.

Really starting to play the second fiddle role a lot better, not trying to overplay his hand, just chime in at the appropriate time - I think it shows he is more than capable as a 6 and I would love for him to be there for the rest of the year.

I don't love the bloke, but there is something about him - when he's on the field, the Broncos lift.

He’s a pest and a bit of an angry (in a competitive way) bloke on the field, but I also get the sense he’s a super-positive person. He loves playing first grade and hasn’t taken it for granted. He also seemingly doesn’t lose hope if things aren’t working.

In the past we’ve had head-droppers and blame-shifters. Now you have guys like Tyson who’ll be there saying ‘come on boys we can do this’ - I imagine it’ll be doing wonders especially for the young kids that have really only played in ‘19-21.

Combined with the winners we’ve brought in and it’s showing the team is believing in themselves and each other

I really like him

How good is it having a side who are genuinely playing for each other? So refreshing.

I was pretty keen on the Jensen signing when I saw his QCUP numbers last season, but he's even exceeded my expectations, he has to keep starting, he's been huge for us.

Here are his numbers this season when playing 30 or more minutes -

R5 - 36 minutes - 11 runs, 110 metres, 19 tackles (0 missed)
R6 - 46 minutes - 15 runs, 164 metres, 25 tackles (2 missed)
R8 - 40 minutes - 18 runs, 167 metres, 26 tackles (1 missed)
R9 - 47 minutes - 12 runs, 123 metres, 25 tackles (2 missed)
R10 - 36 minutes - 17 runs, 189 metres, 18 tackles (0 missed)

He is going about with no fanfare either. These are similar numbers to Haas and Carrigan. I don’t mind him not getting wraps either as it keeps his re-signing price down.

If I were Slater, I’d be considering him for origin even if doesn’t make the team in the end.

Funny that teams hadn't not shown up against us for the last few years, and then all of a sudden...
Yep they will never give us credit. We could keep improving and when the premiership and they would say “Congratulations Broncos but this was such a weird year when none of the other teams turned up for 26 rounds and a finals series”.

Yep , credit where it`s due .
I bagged him a few weeks back . He was missing a lot of tackles . And making unforced errors .

He has improved both areas I criticised and is a valuable member of this team .

Comes across as a humble guy in this clip .

From the bottom of my heart, thank YOU South Sydney for not having the foresight to sign Adam for the two years he was chasing.

Discuss. Renolds played good as usal. I’ve been with broncs since I was a boy but I think last night was given to broncs. DCE played a clean game and refs clearly had bets on us. If not, I think it could have been anyones game. We need to clean up the middle and renolds needs to stop booting right side always. So predicteble if Im to be harsh it’s coz I’m passionate. Let’s not get too far ahead ay?

Hey guys I’m new in here so go easy 😝.

Just wanted to be real with last night.
Renolds played good as usal but he needs to stop kicking to the short side every single time. I feel like we played a better game, but refs did give it to us I feel:
We can’t just get complacence with 2 weeks of decent play. We are still week in the middle and now teams are clueing onto renolds predicable boot.
I’m not a fan of DCE at all but he played better than anyone on the pitch.
Not trying to start aguments but we NEED TO STAY focused.

You won't last long here if there's any more of this rubbish. Awful attempt too, have a word with yourself.

Oh totally agree. In fact I thought Manly were the Panthers they were that good but just totally robbed by the ref. I couldn’t believe the ref called held when DCE, basically the only half back on field, was held up. Turbo on one leg was better than any other back out there. I also cannot rave enough about how good Bullemor was, 1000% the one that got away.

That win was totally down to the ref and just a shame DCE is too nice a guy to call the guy with the whistle out.

Back to the drawing board for the Broncs, they can only win ‘lucky’ as last night showed.

Mate I’m honestly not trying to start things. We should be able to have open discusion without banning.
im critical because I want broncos to succeed.
Sorry mate if I offended anyone.
