I know he racks up the big numbers but I greatly prefer what Patty and Tom bring to the field, in defence, and especially attack. Patty is reminding me of a young Ray Price, and Flegs is trying to emulate TPJ but his workrate is higher.

If I had to let one of them go, it would be Payne. I would spend the savings on retaining Cobbo and Oates.

he is turning into a bit of a sponge

I take back all my Kevin criticism.
Mr Walters, you have been outstanding.

Best performance in fucking years. Genuine 80 minute masterclass.

Outstanding defence, brilliant attack, just all round class.
Keeping the faith is the Kevolution Kimlo.

He looks a lot better in recent weeks, but still a very long way from a $600k a year player.
I think he's worth more than Payne, simply because he's menacing, unpredictable and tries to set up attacking runs rather than just hit-ups. I'm not down on Payne. I'm up on Tom.

Can’t say I agree here. Payne Haas is in far, far more last ditch defensive efforts than he really gets credit for. His consistency and work rate is the best for any middle Forward in the game and to underrate the value of that and it’s impact on our performances would be pretty shortsighted indeed.

I just dont think he is worth the money he is on or the money he is chasing.

That’s just the thing though, you (almost) have to feel bad for Souths because at this point we’re seeing a level of performance that even they could be forgiven for not realising Reynolds had in him at this point in his career. He’s gone to another level in 2022 and I’d argue virtually no one could have seen that coming.

If I was Fittler I certainly wouldn’t be changing a winning formula but the truth is Reynolds has Cleary pretty comfortably covered on form at this point.
Let’s hope Cleary doesn’t get injured and we lose Arey for Origin. God forbid

Hard to argue with the money he’s on. You’d have to say that across the full deal he’s been an absolute steal.

As for the money he’s chasing, it’s probably a bit high, but it’s by no means the most outrageous money we’ve seen some players chasing vs what they actually deliver week to week.

It’s not escaped me that since Niu, Isaako and RK, all his personal favourites, have dropped out of the side we’ve absolutely turned a corner… 😂

Of the 5 games RK has played this year we've won 4!! Plus, in the loss he was the second best forward out there! What a wanker😁😁😁😁you are.

It wasn’t coaching, I was at the game, he literally walked over to Selwyn and asked to swap positions
No he didn’t. He went off and Cobbo moved to fullback for a bit. Kevvie saw an excellent opportunity to give him a run at fb. Good coaching.

I don’t think it’s unfair. Niu was horrendous in all facets of defence. Scared of the high ball, constantly
out position, unable to organise defence.
If he’s the player he’s supposed to be then he’ll go back to Queensland Cup and dominate it and demand a recall. If he doesn’t, then perhaps he’s more hype than reality at this stage.

Sounds like you needed to put the brakes on several drinks ago old mate. No one likes a nasty drunk.
