This except McCullough instead of Hunt. It's great to see that we still have so many options in the forwards with Te'o, Gillett, McGuire and Tronc out. Oh how times have changed...

Hunt hasn't been any better... I have faith in Griffin and the coaching staff that they can help Macca. I think playing him will see him imporve quicker than dropping him, especially while Hunt isn't playing that well.

You are right but Macca has been supposedly developing as an 80 min hooker since under 20's but he has gone backwards. I would only have Hunt in the 9 because there is nobody else and Macca needs a rocket.

So much for him stepping up this year and taking more responsibility off Lockyer and Wallace.... instead of improving, he has gotten WORSE! Ridiculous.

Only thing going for him is his defense, sometimes he is thrown off when he's first in, but usually he is a pretty strong defender.

The more I see of Macca the more I think it was a mistake to turn him into a hooker. He is a 6.

I don't think he would have ever lasted as a 6, much like Cam Smith wouldn't either.

I think there's still plenty of reasons why the Broncos should stick with Macca at 9. At the moment though, he's in something of a comfort zone and Hook has to break him out of it.

BTW, did anyone else see Macca and Smith after the game - they seemed deep in conversation for about five minutes and the way they were moving their hands and looking around, I just got the feeling that Smith was giving Macca a lesson on dummy-half play (serious). If that was what he was doing - full marks to Smith for taking the time to do it. (If he wasn't - what a timewasting douchebag!)
