PRE-GAME Round 10 - Sea Eagles vs Broncos

I thought Croft was terrible, didn't take the line on, didn't do much at all. Kicked goals, and scored a try. Didn't do anything for anyone else.
Hence okay, yeah? If you contribute 18 points out of 50 it's hard to argue that he was terrible!!

I do get your point though, you'd like to see more selflessness and laying on tries, creating chances for others etc. Not TERRIBLE though, hey? A little hyperbole there methinks.

No line breaks assists, no try assists and no line engaging runs. As a half in a 50 point win in a lower standard of football I would say that's terrible.

That's the same as 10 runs in a total of 600 in cricket.

He's been a horrendous disappointment. I am getting really sick of Melbourne finding these opportunities to laugh at us.

Scarlett who has been great for Wynnum and would be the form half in the comp- one try assists, one line break, one line break assist and three tackle breaks.

****, glad you're not my accountant!

No, it's equal to 240 in 600, thereabouts. What don't you get?

Croft scored first, when everyone was fresh and the game was anyone's. It's the tries scored later when the opposition had given up that mean little. I already acknowledged your point but **** me, you want to portray it as though his team would have been better off without Croft ffs! No way will I accept that he was terrible and nothing you can write will convince me of that. Why? Because it's shit. I said he was okay. That means he was average. He certainly wasn't terrible. If he was poor in defence and conceded 3 tries, sure but his defence was the usual 90+% and his attack was okay, average. You got to get off the hate train.

Manly letting in 32 points isn’t terrible news.

You missed my point, I was saying he didn't contribute much in a serious total.

I watched the game, you should try.

They probably would have been better without him. No Croft hasn't hurt them the last five weeks- that five weeks they haven't lost a game. In fact Campagnolo was the comp's leading goal kicker. So that covers all Croft's goals.

If we defend well we will probably win

we don’t stop Ttrbo with the form he’s in, and if we’re lucky enough to hold the game close DCE will remind us that we don’t have the spine to win tight ones.

I think we had to win last night. The confidence of our first back to back wins post covid may have just been enough to ambush Manly at home. 3 wins in a row would’ve been invaluable for the club and the players, and though we’d still likely lose to Roosters and Storm the self belief would be there.

But I think we’ll lose to Manly in this timeline. Our next potentially winnable game is round 13 but we will now be entering it with a 2 from 12 record.

I wouldn't write us off in this game at all, against the Cowboys I saw alot of attacking promise from our spine and I think we are playing good enough right now to be in the game of most teams we can come across.

Piakura came back today from two weeks off- used sparingly on the bench. I don't think he's ready for NRL yet and Norths got pumped. Horrible game to try and cause impact.

Levi got back and played too, good commitment. Probably wishes at 36-0 he'd sat it out.

Norths missing Gamble?

Norths missing Gamble?
They've been struggling for weeks. They won ugly against the Pride but the Bears got the jump on them this time and things escalated. They had Levi go to the bin for 10 and the Bears just piled on the points.

To add insult to injury they lost Ahearn in the second half who is the key player for them.

Trbojevic is in incredible form.

That being said, we do have the wood over them recently at Suncorp.
