POST GAME [Round 11, 2026] - Broncos vs Warriors

I mean…. Aside from the sport that we love turning to shit, I’m not all that worried.

Two better bounces and two less intercepts and we’re right in it.

It’s almost as if we’re missing Staggs, Haas, Jensen, Piakura, Mariner, and Billy.

We’ve just got to work out how to control the ruck and possession in this Vlandotrashball era and we should start gutter stomping

It is difficult to see Brisbane win another game this season.

Last week was embarrassing, totally our fault.

No team can win a game with the penalty count, that brisbane experiences in the first 20 minutes.

Not even the all conquering Panthers would win another game with our penalty count. We are knocked down, dick punched, coat hangered, anally fisted. It's not a fair fight.

No team has an infinite amount of energy. We do not see the opposition 20 all half. We are always parked in our 20, with every bit of bad luck, or 50/50 gping against us. NO team can compete with what Brisbane is experiencing. It's not even a game now; it's a very public execution of Brisbane.

Here's the full breakdown of Ashley Klein's record when refereeing Brisbane Broncos games:

Overall Record (W-D-L)

According to Rugby League Tables data, Klein has refereed the Broncos in 48 NRL games (across both regular season and finals), while the Rugby League Project records 52 games in their database.

The Broncos' overall NRL win rate across all referees is 58.6%, so Klein's record with Brisbane (59.6%) is very slightly above average.

Penalties

In games Klein has refereed involving Brisbane, the penalty count is essentially even:
  • Penalties for Brisbane: 177
  • Penalties against Brisbane: 182.5 (dual-referee counts halved)
  • Ratio: 0.97 (just marginally below 1.0, meaning slightly more penalties called against Brisbane than for them)

Comparison vs. League Average

Across all teams during Klein's career, Brisbane's win rate of 58.33% is +5.22 percentage points above the Brisbane team's overall NRL win rate of 53.12% during the same period. That means Brisbane has actually performed better than expected in games Klein has officiated.

this was just done with perplexity in two seconds
Now do Adam Gee

Now do the first 20 minutes of every 2026 season game.

It's brutal watching Carrigan defend. Constantly flat footed, not chasing from marker, left behind the ruck, not dominating the tackle and just holding down. Billy dropped him to the bench last year, and it would not shock me if he was dropped all together this year

The difference between Paix/Carrigan compared to what Egan/Clark produce is just night and day

The problem is starting to be, how do we run down the top 4 now. We've got Origin to come. With any luck, Patty and Reece aren't selected based on their dogshit form. That might give us a sniff of catching up a couple of games.

Biggest issue, is we've already dropped 6 from 11 games. That, at this point of the season is close to a bottom of the eight finish at best unless we turn into absolute terminators.

Congrats to everyone who sat through all that, good effort. I switched it off just after half time - just a terrible game.
It gives me a little bit of pleasure to think that Kayos viewer figures dropped just a little bit…

Whatever is going on with the team, the officiating, the perceived bias, whatever, we have to speak up about it. Just for the sake of acknowledging the fans discontent.
We, again, were dumb in parts, but again, we are being judged at a higher level than any other club.
It's unwatchable garbage, predictable vomit.

Yeah I just cancelled Kayo, when they asked for a reason I said Broncos getting reamed by the refs every first half.

Semu and Headgear Riki were the highlights for me. How we start has to change we still have enough experience out there to do better. It feels like every team knows they can come out and put 20+ on us without protest. Glad for the bye I could use a rest.

The only game I’ve watched in full this week was the women’s origin. The nrl is just dog shit, it’s over after a quarter of the ref riding one team.
