Yeah, fair enough. I remember it was the ultimate punishment when I'd get the silent treatment from my pairs instead of a lecture - just to know that they must be really disappointed.

Yeah, I think you gotta throw out of the QLD Cup halves in the deep end. They either swim (or at least dog paddle), or they sink and we don't really lose anything. It's not like it's Leonardo DiCaprio sinking. As it stands, they are absolutely worthless depth if we don't actually use them.

Tpj might have to move back to prop or even second row because those positions are pretty bare with all the injuries.

We got Bird for lock, so lets just start playing him there. TPJ would do exactly what he does at lock at prop and i personally think we need his impact there. I'd start either Lodge or TPJ then swap them over. We lack so much go forward when they are both off.

I agree, we gave Nick a good shot at it - but we don't have all the time in the world to wait for him either (IMO Nick is not our man for the job). I don't think we were being serious putting Bird in at 7 surely.. So why not give the Q Cup boys a go? I know, I know, they are not NRL player standard but the same could be said about Nick and Bird of late. I have read a lot of you guys think that Dargan is the all round half back that milf needs. I'd like to see him given a shot. Are we getting to the stage that we might see it happen do you think?

I agree totally with this. If he stuffs up, then there is no legit reason for not dropping him. Trouble is, Bird at lock means a different structure to fit his skills ... um, but then, we have no structures anyway so maybe Bird and the team will come up with their own. Interesting thought.

As for TPJ, he will be a beast no matter where he plays, even FB. Hmmmm, now there's another thought. Wow, that's 2 today! I'm doing well.

I dont think we need to carry Opacic on the bench unless we really have big doubts over the fitness of our backs. He can fill in at back row and he has played some lock, but unless we really have injury problems i'd prefer to see Kodi there and 3 forwards. Kodi has shown he can be devastating coming off the bench in that hooker role. Sadly, i think we have bigger issues than either of those two.

Agreed, would prefer seve or shibasaki @ centre for a few games. A bit more attack orientated then opa .
