Side has been announced, Hodges has been named with Kahu the other centre. Hunt stays, Prince is not named. Granville holds his spot on the bench with Anderson coming in for Stagg.

Noticed the ins and outs on the site said Prince is still out with a hamstring injury despite finishing training yesterday. Saving him a little face getting dropped or genuine injury you reckon?

Yep, as I predicted Kempy will probably play if Hodges is out, it would be stupid to Shift Glenn there when we're already short on forwards.

So happy with Griffin for Selecting Hunt ahead of Prince which also allows Granville to keep his spot. And all the Kemp lovers on the board get to see Kempy named :D

I'm pretty sure that Prince is fit to play but Hook wants another crack at the Hunt/6 and Granville/14 combo, one match probably wasn't enough to gauge whether it was a success or not. IMO this lineup gives Hunt one more shot to really prove himself as FG half as he was relatively quiet against to Titans, thoughts?

If Hunt can't make it work and Granville can, I can see Hook dropping Hunt altogether, bring back Prince and keep Granville on the bench in future games.

This would have the advantage of getting Hunt some much needed halves routine in Qcup as well...

Sounds exactly like what it is bb_gun. Come on Hunt, get a bit more involved. I don't mind if he stuffs up and makes stupid mistakes as long as he gets involved and shows vision and creativity. By the way, I just cried a little at Kemp being named 19th man. I never thought I would ever wish that Hodges wouldn't recover from injury so quickly. Prepare to be dazzled boys if Kemp gets named, he's about to blow your minds with his blistering pace and masterful step.

TBH I think that's exactly what it is. Just today an article in the CM said Prince trained strongly. I don't know if Prince will play Qcup but he's not playing first grade this week.
