POST GAME Round 11 - Warriors vs Broncos

Great effort in D.

They all deserve the week off after the last two weeks.

Defense defense defense. Another tremendous performance especially in D. Pretty fucking proud of the boys and our club right now. We are turning it around. Our attitude is excellent, we're all playing for each other and we aren't giving up when we make errors, give away penalties or when things get tough.

The negatives are obviously our attack, errors and penalties but these things can be improved and fixed.

They deserve a well earned rest. Freshen up and come back stronger.

these sort of wins are some of the best feeling imo. we are noe glueing in attack yet but our attitude atm is second to none and there all really putting in for each other and finally playing with pride in the jersey.

Great Broncos win.

This game proved we definitely don't need McCullough. His best attribute (really only unfortunately) of defence has not been missed at all and we also now have better service and speed from dummy half.

Never thought it would be, but many disagreed. We saw this when he was out last year. Our defence actually improved.

Also, for all the skepticism about him, Segeyaro's on-field attitude is immaculate. First to encourage Carrigan after a dropped ball, never any backchat against the refs, always competing for everything. I'd be happy to extend him for another 2 years right now.

Boyd, deaden, Haas and Turpin have turned our season. Somehow, now the top 4 is not out of reach.
Very proud of this group.

They turned up and the effort was there. Great win season has life. Only downside was Isaako under the high ball. Hopefully Jimmy kills it in reserve grade and earns his spot. Then shift Shibba to wing.

It's not just about the Broncos though. The refs decide what happens out there in every game. The sport has a problem

It's not good to be a sour winner so I'm not gonna go on with it but fair dinkem, the refs were taking the piss out there. They give the Warriors a massive legup in the penalty count in the first half, then cynically put the whistle away in the 2nd half and force the players to do it themselves. It was an infuriating display.

Very much a character building win for an extremely young team.

Sensational defensive performance, especially when you consider how inexperienced a lot of the lads out there are.

Lodge and Haas are the best front row pairing in the comp.

Don't seem to remember us isolating Kodi all night. He almost upset us as well with that near try in the in goal.

Thought both sides of our defence look to be gelling. Not sure I'd want to drop Shiba at the moment.
