Love him. I think his leadership speaks more than his stats

the problem is some people unrealistically expected Capewell to change the way he plays when he left the Panthers.

I'm a fan. He's our best support player (along with Walsh), plus it's handy to have someone on that edge willing to pass to the left.

Yeah the hold down penalty he gives away every game is getting on my nerve... he seems to stay on the man longer than anyone else in the team, which might be why it stands out so much to me and maybe the refs.

I'm still a fan.

He's just a flat out footy player that appears where the ball is.

He's been handy next to Ezra this year looking for opportunities to chase those kicks, instead of just running a line.

He's giving Ezra an option, he's been supporting offloads from Payne and Carrigan, and he's also providing a different look on the sweep where he drops out the back and throws the last pass.

I would say it was more of a case of people rating Capewell higher than what he was actually is.

Reality is Capewell is really just a mid-level backrower with a good work ethic. Sort of the Jack Reed of backrowers.

He is good off the ball too and one of the best support players in the game.

The Jack Reed comparison is so accurate lol. Jack probably didn’t get penalised as much or have as many clutch moments though
