True, yet I think both are equally important, especially in the first 2 thirds, and passing it 2 wide to a running back rower is not a bad move

I don't really have a problem with the way he gets the forwards going. I mean I'd like to see variety, but that's not really his job. The variety needs to come from the halves and the forwards themselves. My biggest problem with him is just his slow passing to the halves when we are attacking. He doesn't pass off the ground like the good hookers do, he picks it up, wastes time and then throws it. Our halves will look ordinary until that gets fixed.

I have a huge problem with the way our forwards don't get going - they stand too flat and get crunched before they are at full speed. McGuire's a good exception a lot of the time, and sometimes Thaiday, but then they rarely look to offload

Most of the good hookers I see tend to run first before they pass to give forwards or halves time to be on the move.

Passing off the ground is only good if the whole attacking structure is set and moving
