Broncs already have dibs on Hodgson apparently and that is part of moving Lodge on. Your guess is as good as mine as to how accurate that is,
Fair dinkum though Reynolds and Hodgo would make you guys instant top 4 threats again next year I reckon, light years ahead of Niko/CHT.

Jack is the best 6 in the comp bar none.

probably around the same time the Panthers get hounded for letting Burton go
To be fair, those teams are successful and have talent in their teams...

We’re the spooners and don’t

Manu’s worth 1 million or close to it, if we’re chasing him

Game day for us Manly boys , surely we can beat the Knights

Oh no, Schuster out with an injury picked up at training!

Still got DCE and the Trbojevic bros and with Ponga out for the Knights, it should be a comfortable win for Manly.

If we are going to keep a million aside in the hope we can get Manu a year early and upgrade Walsh to lock him up, we are going to be really tight on the cap. Unless our prop wings leave so they can be closer to their families

Last night noticed the Rooster are becoming Storm like in terms of gamesmanship. They were fucking around in the ruck to slow it as long as possible by deliberately taking ages to untangle themselves from the tackled player. Their goal was to slow the PTB of the opposition by 0.5 of a second each play.

Gamesmanship has got to be my new least favourite word coming out of commentary while watching the NRL. Player starts milking... "bit of gamesmanship on show by the ______". Painful

Yes, all the tactics to slow the ruck down are increasing. These new rules are making the game more messy and **** me it makes it hard to watch.
How do these gifted athletes all of a sudden become unco in the ruck area. I've said all along all they had to do was enforce existing rules of playing the ball correctly and penalising the deliberate acts of gamesmanship to get a far superior game to watch.
I think I've watched 3 games this weekend and I usually watch all of them. I haven't missed it at all.

Another downside of the crackdown ,as far as income for the NRL, is people will punt less on the game. You can't trust that a team won't be cruelled by a ref with send offs and 6 again calls.
I like to back myself on the punt but not at the moment, it's just a guess right now.

Yep it is painful but nothing beats 'Goodbye!'

I hate that guy. He glorifies American-style commentators and thinks he needs a catchphrase. I mean if it’s a legitimate runaway try that’s 50m plus from a JAC or someone quick then sure, but not every fucking time someone runs from 10m out to score. Total flog
