Post Origin fatigue for key Storm players and no Slater, but still, the Roosters are just so relentless with their momentum - quick play the balls, good, quick dummy half service, good line speed - clearly one of the benchmarks for this season on this form so far.

RTS can be a real weapon.

Can't use origin excuses, we won in the same week with more players and shorter prep times in between.

I agree with rnabokov's point. Neither side was disadvantage but backing up from Origin really influenced the contest and the decision to rest Slater really blunted the Storm's attack.

With that said, the Roosters demonstrated that they've got another gear in them and look to have really turned a corner since they flogged Wests at Allianz. Provided that both teams continue to avoid catastrophe, the prospect of a Roosters v Cowboys game is absolutely salivating.

The Roosters right edge was fantastic tonight. SKD took a page out of Chambers' book and continuously got the Roosters on the front foot while Aubusson had a field day against Mann. It's scary to see how they'll play with Ferguson due back in a couple of weeks. JWH, Taukeiaho, Evans, Napa etc. were unstoppable as well and Bromwich seemingly had to do it all on his own.

Good win to the Chooks and I'm sure they'll continue their run of wins next week when they take on a patchy Cronulla outfit at Remondis stadium.

Meanwhile Melbourne have a chance to bounce back against Penrith on Saturday at Pepper Stadium. I'll be very interested to see how both teams shape up as Penrith desperately need wins in order to stay in touch with the Top 4 while Melbourne can't afford to go on a losing streak during the Origin period.
